The October Issue: Wellness Edition

Every January, the entire country decides to become a new person at once. The gyms fill, the grocery stores run out of kale, and a great many good intentions are launched into the darkest, coldest, most broke week of the year. By February, the gyms have emptied again. This is not a failure of willpower. It is a scheduling problem.

We would like to propose an alternative: start now. The holidays have not arrived, the routines from September have settled, and there are roughly twelve weeks between today and the first of January. Twelve weeks is long enough to build a habit, see how your body responds, and walk into the new year already three months in while everyone else is downloading the same app.

So this month, the October Issue is about FORM by GBY: the provider-led wellness side of our house.

First, How FORM Works

FORM is telehealth care built by the people who brought you GBY. You start with an online intake, a licensed provider reviews it, and if a treatment is appropriate for you, it is prescribed and shipped to your door, with ongoing virtual check-ins from there. No waiting rooms. No insurance paperwork; FORM is cash-pay with transparent pricing. Everything below requires a provider's evaluation, and the provider, not a blog post, decides what is right for you.

Look One: The Reset

For anyone whose wellness goals include weight management, and who would rather walk into the holidays with support than make a promise to themselves on December 31.

GLP-1 medications may support appetite regulation and help quiet the constant mental chatter about food, which many people find most valuable during exactly the season built around food.

Editor's note: starting in October means you and your provider have time to find the right dose before the holidays rather than in the middle of them. That is not a small thing.

Look Two: The Glow

The wellness category that most resembles beauty, and the one we get asked about most at the Bungalow.

  • NAD+ — $199 per month. A coenzyme involved in how your cells make energy. Levels decline with age, which is why it has become the center of the longevity conversation.

  • Glutathione — $199 per month. One of the body's main antioxidants, beloved in beauty circles.

  • GHK-Cu — $199 per month. A copper peptide best known in skincare.

Research on these is still developing, especially in humans, so we describe them honestly: they may support how you feel and how your skin looks, as part of a bigger picture that includes sleep, food, and sunscreen.

Look Three: The Energy

Vitamin B12 ($189 per month) — for the 3pm slump that turns into the 5pm-in-the-dark slump once the clocks change. B12 plays a role in energy metabolism, and if your levels are low, supplementing may help. A provider can help you figure out whether that is you.

Look Four: The Hair

Many people notice more shedding in the fall. Whatever the cause, hair treatments take months to show what they can do, which makes now, not January, the time to start. A provider will help you choose between oral and topical options.

Look Five: The Bundles

For people who want one plan instead of four separate ones. Each bundle pairs tirzepatide with Advanced NAD+, plus a third component chosen for a different goal.

  • Restore (Tirzepatide + Advanced NAD+) — $399. Weight management with cellular-energy support.

  • ERA (Tirzepatide + Advanced NAD+ + Glutathione) — $449. Recovery and energy, with antioxidant support.

  • Foundation (Tirzepatide + Advanced NAD+ + Sermorelin) — $499. Built around strength and body composition.

Editor's note: if you are deciding between two, start the intake and ask. Comparing bundles is exactly what the provider conversation is for.

If you do one thing, start the intake; it takes a few minutes and commits you to nothing. If weight is the goal, start now so the adjustment period is behind you by Thanksgiving. If you are already a GBY regular who books a lash lift every six weeks, think of FORM the same way: a standing appointment for the inside. And when everyone else announces their new year's resolutions in January, you can nod politely and say nothing at all.
